Book Meme @ 02:27 pm

Current Mood: contemplative contemplative

Don’t take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you’ve read that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in 15 minutes. Copy the instructions into your own note.

(Thanks, Pam!)

Me and Caleb (Franklyn Meyer)
Sacrifice (Andrew Vachss)
Blood Games (Chelsea Quinn Yarbro)
Demon Haunted World (Carl Sagan)
A Prayer for Owen Meany (John Irving)
Stormy Weather (Carl Hiassen)
Mucho Mojo (Joe R. Lansdale)
Small Sacrifices (Ann Rule)
The Complete Jack the Ripper (Donald Rumbelow)
The Count of Monte Cristo (Alexandre Dumas pere)
Les Miserables (Victor Hugo)
Strange Wine (Harlan Ellison)
Deathbird Stories (Harlan Ellison)
Whip Hand (Dick Francis)
Devices and Desires (P. D. James)

Hmmm...lots of mysteries, plus a couple of true crime books.  Me and Caleb is a children's book, and my all-time favorite children's book, I think.  Only Ellison gets two entries; one for the first collection of his I read (Strange Wine), and the other which contains, in my opinion, his best story (The Deathbird).
